Salvage of drilling machine on the BAB 46 motorway

A 30 ton drilling machine was about to fall into the valley after crashing and therefore had to be salvaged during construction work on the A46. Due to difficult space requeriments the salvage could only take place by closing half of the A 46 (which was enabled by the motorway police)and additional supporting material for the crane. In addtition a salvage pulley was used to secure the drilling machine with a pulling power of 30 tons. After disassembly of the front drilling unit the machine could be lifted onto the motorway.
